Knife Sharpener 3 steps
- Step 1: Diamond coated bars - Preparation sharpening
- Step 2: Sheets of tungsten carbide - Coarse sharpening
- Step 3: Ceramic bars - Fine sharpening
- Easy grip handle.
- Non-slip base for safe sharpening.
Instructions:
Place the sharpener on a flat surface and hold the sharpener with one hand and the knife handle with the other.
Step 1: Diamond coated bars - Preparation sharpening
- Use before sharpening if the knife edge is damaged to balance the blade.
- Slide the blade along the diamond bars pressing down lightly on the edge of the blade.
Step 2: Sheets of tungsten carbide - Coarse sharpening
- Only to be used if the blade is very blunt.
- Slide the blade along the metal sheets pressing down lightly on the edge of the blade. Repeat until the blade is restored to the desired sharpness.
Step 3: Ceramic bars - Fine sharpening
- Slide the blade along the ceramic bars without exerting pressure in order to remove rough edges left in step 2. Repeat the operation until a smooth edge is obtained.
- For maintaining a sharp blade you can just perform this operation without first doing step 2. Recommended once a week.
- Wash the blade after sharpening.
Warnings:
- Not suitable for knives or scissors with serrated edges.
- In order not to damage the knife, grind lightly and without using back and forward movements.
