A history forged over time
Bueno Hermanos, S.A. has been operating in the market since 1930 with an unwavering commitment to quality, innovation and design.
In Eibar (Guipúzcoa), the seven Bueno brothers founded the company, beginning the artisanal manufacture of scissors under the 3 Claveles brand. Despite the hardships of the Civil War and the post-war period, the company established itself thanks to family unity and the quality of its products.
The company is moving to new premises to accommodate its growth and expand its range to include professional scissors for various sectors: clothing manufacture, cooking, grape harvesting and pruning, amongst others.
In 1963, Bueno Hermanos relocated its headquarters and manufacturing facilities from Eibar to Logroño. This milestone saw 46 families linked to the company move to La Rioja to launch the new plant on what was named Calle Eibar, in tribute to the company’s origins.
From this new strategic hub, 3 Claveles initiated its international expansion, establishing its first export operations in key European markets such as Portugal, France, and Italy.
A modern 20,000 m² plant is being built in the Cantabria I Industrial Estate (Logroño), with a focus on sustainability and internationalisation. It includes an industrial waste treatment plant.
The first overseas subsidiary is launched: 3 Claveles Argentina, S.A., based in Buenos Aires and 100 per cent family-owned.
With a history spanning almost a century, 3 Claveles is the only Spanish manufacturer of scissors and one of the world’s top three producers of forged scissors. With around 100 employees, it continues its transition towards Industry 4.0, focusing on digitalisation, automation and excellence.

Awarded by the prestigious international jury at the Ambiente Frankfurt trade fair, the Design Plus Award has, since 1983, recognised products that stand out for their innovative design and functionality. The 3 Claveles professional fish-scaler, designed by Diego Repiso, won the award and forms part of the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art in Frankfurt.
Recognition of the company’s ongoing commitment to Research, Development, Design and Innovation. 3 Claveles has developed high-precision, ergonomic products in collaboration with institutions such as the CDTI, the Valencia Institute of Biomechanics and INASMET.
